After hollering all the way through the Wild Boyz Comedy show, I headed down Halls Ferry to kick it with Phil Assets and his crew. They brought reality television vixen Deelishis to town as they debuted the newly remodeled Club Klymaxx. The Ambassador parking lot was full, so I was all but certain it was a win as far as the crowd went. But there was either a was a wedding reception, private party or bingo night – or each person up in the club drove four cars there. But that’s not to say it was a loss. First off, I like the club’s new layout. And of all the curvaceous queens that have come through the Lou, I must say that Deelishis deserves Miss Congeniality honors. She was meeting and greeting with everybody from the time she stepped up in the place until it was time to roll out. And she didn’t just smile, click and keep it steppin’. Deelishis has an amazing personality and was engaging with everybody who seemed remotely interested in connecting. I must say that for all of these years I was convinced that her bangin’ body and dimples gave her the competitive edge on “Flavor of Love.” But after meeting her, a part of me – a small part, but still – has me thinking her charm might have had a hand in her getting chose.
