I went to the Barbie’s World fashion show Sunday night at SLU and while there was nothing fashionable about how late they were, I truly and thoroughly enjoyed everything else about it. Eyekon and Shchrell both had some seriously hot designs. Especially that turquoise dress with the pink leggings. The models were trained (with the exception of this big sexy who walked the runway like her bunyons were on fire) and even the little kids they had in the show were fierce. I didn’t know what to expect as I was walking up in there. I hadn’t heard anything about it except for one radio ad the day of the show, but it was packed. The black fashionistas definitely represented! All of the designers and the models had legitimate game on the fashion tip.
