I must say that I was thrilled that the Day Party had Mandarin on fire in the middle of the day on Sunday – partly because of how A.I. was serving on the ones and twos, but mostly because of the abundance of movers and shakers in the place. A few ladies did too much too soon with the backless and strapless summer dresses in the tsunami, but I’ll charge it to the game of the expected vibe and give a pass.
