Spaide R.I.P.P.E.R.’s manager Boo called the paper this week, salty about me playing with Spaide’s “People’s Champ” handle in propping up Big Will for winning at freestyling on 106 & Park. Boo’s point was you can’t compare the success of a freestyler to the achievements of a recording artist. “We (play) with Da SLU Crew, they our people, so I’m not trying to take nothing from them, I’m not trying to diss them,” Boo said. “But you can’t compare a secretary to a supervisor.” This is not the platform to respond the way I should, so I’ll let it go.
