Okay, so the DeBarges are really trying to be the next Jaheim (as in persona non grata) on the urban concert series. I was looking forward to seeing Chico not being heckled on the Ambassador stage. He stood in for El without warning, and the folks were not having it. Maybe he was still traumatized because he was nowhere to be seen for The Birthday Saturday. Case had to go at it alone and most of the people clearly came to see Chico, because they hit it. This is no shade to the promoters because word has it they were just as shocked as y’all. Last they heard he was supposed to be flying in from Dallas. Help. I would like to take a moment to issue a health and wellness check, so if someone has seen a silky-haired, soft voiced middle-aged man in the DFW area, please hit a sista up.
