In fact, I rolled by there last week and unless ghosts have taken it over, there wasn’t a soul. Same this week. Word is that it may reopen as Roots. Maybe that means it’ll be a reggae joint, maybe not, though Chicken George comes to mind. Well, props to DeAmon, Maurice and Will for making it to their one year anniversary. Lord knows it wasn’t easy. They celebrated Saturday with free admission and free drinks in the VIP. All kinda folks came out to help them celebrate: young, mature, black, white. I even peeped Eye Candy Model promoter Mo Spoon, looking for model types for his Eye Candy Party competition at 9 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28 at The Loft.
