The day after middle-aged hip-hop heads released their inner thug, their hip-hop hipster children set up shop for a full revue that showcased what’s next in hip-hop and R&B. Big Krit closed the show and I must say that every time I see him I wonder why he hasn’t caught on with the masses yet. Mimi Hood, Chip “Space” Price, Bronica Richardson, Asha Hornaday and plenty more folks who came through to see the Mississippi bred Rapper rip the mic at the Ready Room. It’s a good thing that most of the ladies up in there were natural because it was so packed and hot that there would have been a room full of wasted blowouts. In addition to Krit, I also caught life from newcomer BJ The Chicago Kid. He had a few songs that were so cute it made me wonder if he’ll be a major contender in the R&B game in a bit.
