Mainstream media just never fails to amaze my nerves, so let me set a couple of things straight for them. First, to Fox 2’s Margie Ellisor: Ms. Jackson, aka Janet Jackson, is not well known for her wardrobe malfunction. She’s well known for being one of the best Pop entertainers of all time. She’s also well known for being one of the sexiest women alive. Okay, on to network news and anyone else who doesn’t know the difference between rap and hip-hop. Rap is a form of hip-hop, okay? Not all hip-hop is rap. There are hip-hop songs that don’t include any rap. So Oprah isn’t at odds with the hip-hop community – She’s at odds with rappers 50 Cent and Ludacris, (who has since made remote amends with Oprah).
