There are a lot of things I could be irritated about this week, and I am, but I just can’t get over Jamie Foxx playing Ricardo Tubbs, the character Phillip Michael Thomas took straight to the hearts of women in the 1984 weekly crime drama, with partner Sonny Crockett played by Don Johnson. Jamie has proven his self as a fine actor, and I can’t blame him and his agent for taking the role, but it was bad casting. My first choice would have been Alan Payne. He would have been perfect and, like Phillip, boyfriend knows how to sport a suit. I would even have liked Michael Ealy (Barber Shop, 2 Fast 2 Furious).
