I got it crackin’ with the Black Rep/Urban League Young Professionals Wine and Theatre Experience and let me just say if the Black Rep ever runs out of actors they can turn some their administrative staff and interns because they are some real clowns – especially that Cindy Clay. A little birdie told me that she asked Bill Beene about being the next Eye Candy Model and danced on down the elevator. She might be a contender if Mo’ Spoon ever decided to have a throwback edition. That girl knows she’s a clown. But on a serious, I peeped Ron Himes directing Ain’t Misbehavin,’ the play debut for the Black Rep’s 2007 season. From what little I saw, it’s gonna be hot. Two of my favorites J. Samuel Davis and Drummond Crenshaw are in the show. And that J. Samuel is finer than the wine we tasted that night.
