Delores, I’ve been in a rocky relationship for several years and I haven’t always been the victim. But, after doing some soul searching and weighing out the pros and cons, I decided to stop my deceitful ways and settle down. As of earlier this year, I found out that my so-called -boyfriend of countless years, has a child outside of our relationship. I was so hurt I told him it was over because I couldn’t trust him any more. But, I love him and I don’t want to be with another man. I told him a couple of days ago how I felt and responded by saying it’s too late because he’s having too much fun and he does not see us getting back together anytime soon. Can someone please tell me what to do?
Delores has two words for you: “Move On.” Girl, there is nothing for you to do. Don’t take that “anytime soon” mess for meaning anything other than NEVER. From my experiences, as lousy as dudes can be, they are for the most part non-confrontational and will say anything to keep from hurting a female’s feelings.
