The debut of
the new monthly series Speakerboxx was apparently
the place to be Friday night after the Cardinals World Series win.
Decked in mostly Redbird gear, the crowd was in shoulder shakin’
and dance breakin’ spirits when they piled into this downtown

Studies put on one heck of a party as legendary hip-hop
artist Lord Finesse was on hand to help scorch the
atmosphere. Old school jams were goin’ strong in the back as
DJ Nune with mic help from Thelonius
Kryptonite was holdin’ it down in the Absinthe Bar.
Meanwhile, Nappy DJ Needles was spinnin’ hot fire
in the front to the likes of Dru Hill’s “Sleeping
In My Bed” remix and Mary J. Blige’s “Real Love.”
