After swinging by comedian Darius Bradford’s Chocolate Sundays at The Improv, I’m convinced this brother is a special treat to St. Louis. He’s a nationally known comedian for his work on BET, so to have this brother on stage in The Lou is sweet. He holds it down at The Improv all by his self, mostly. This past Sunday, Brother Dre and St. Louis’ most gutta and ghetto comedian Lil Roc busted a few jokes. Most of the time Darius was up there freestyling and interacting. Another deal down there is a song spinoff between Improv co-owner Harry Colbert and DJ, sound effects man Big J (or Justin Crafts). That was hot, and so was the craftiness Big J put down by cueing in appropriate sound effects for Darius’ act. That boy knows he’s a fool. Check him out at 9 p.m. Sundays at The Improv. Also, he’s holding it down at 7 p.m. Tuesdays at The Loft.
