Because I figured the Doug E. Fresh set would end first, I made my way there instead of stopping by the July edition of Hey Luv, the monthly set presented by Shadzilla, DJ JMo and DJ Reminisce. They outgrew Lucha a few months back. This time they held it at the Bronson House over near Compton and Washington. I got there not too long after midnight – just in time see the folks give their goodnights. Even though it was over, the place was still packed.
