Kim and Valerie took time to check out rising rap star Tory Lanez Tuesday night @ Delmar Hall

Because of my deadline schedule, I had to bump my recap of Tory Lanez’s visit to Delmar Hall, but I’m sure you’re still interested, so I will carry on as if it’s fresh. I know he’s been called the Dollar Tree Drake, but the fellow Canadian singer/rapper proved he has his own following at the show presented by 100.3 The Beat. His energy is on 1,000 out of 10. I wish I cared more for his singing voice, because if I did, he would have a fan in me. But I’m not missed, based on how the folks were pumping their fists and hopping around as he got into his music. And I know that the relationship he has with his fans is built on trust, the way he was crowd surfing and carrying on. Not only did he crowd surf, he walked on top of the crowd. The folks held their hands out and allowed them to be his stepping stones. I hadn’t seen anything like it before in my life. I was such a wreck for those few minutes I lost focus on the show altogether and was eyeballing to see if EMS was on standby.
