After months of attempts by producers to have Actress Raven Symone permanently seated among the ladies of “The View.” The former child star confirmed that she will be joining the show full time.
“The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true! Being a part of ‘The View’ family will be a wonderful growing experience for me,” Symone said via a statement confirming that she will be added to the shows line up of co-hosts.
“The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier,” Symone said. “I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host. I want to thank ABC, ABC News and The Disney Company for believing in me and my potential! Let’s have some fun.”
Recently Symone guest-hosted 37 times and is replacing Rosie O’Donnell. The daytime show that discusses celebrity news and current events in a kitchen table style format where the co-hosts and guests chime in with their varying opinions alongside moderator Whoopi Goldberg and co-hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez.
