After the internet caught fire with backlash thanks to the antics of Tami Roman antagonizing a fellow cast mate on last night’s episode of ‘Basketball Wives’, the show’s production company Shed Media say that the focus will change when the show returns.

Shed Media issued a statement on their plans to change the direction of the show in the future – eluding to Shaunie O’Neal’s outrage with respect to how the women are constantly portrayed.

“Shed Media US is fully committed to telling the compelling stories of the Basketball Wives in a balanced way,” the statement read. “Our producing partner Shaunie O’Neal feels strongly about this, and we fully agree with this stance. We support her as she encourages the cast members to work out issues in a non-violent fashion. We look forward to working with her and the rest of the cast in conveying more balance in the next season.”

Monday night’s episode once again featured infighting with Tami Roman at the root of the problem. Tami took to her twitter page to apologize for how she came across on the small screen.

“Just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature-I apologize…,” Roman tweeted. “I’m not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it. I do apologize 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members.”
