Protégé Yung Joc stayed on tour bus for Plush afterparty
Two days after rapper T.I.’s concert at the Pageant was postponed due to the killing of friend and crewmember at an Ohio after set, the date has been rescheduled for 8 p.m., May 28.
Ticket holders may use their tickets for the rescheduled concert. Fans who want a refund should go to the point of ticket purchase.
Yung Joc, the protégé rapper on T.I.’s Grand Hustle label, showed up in St. Louis Wednesday for an after party at Plush nightclub. The rapper, however did not depart his tour bus.
A local hip-hip fan and Street Radio Live member, JChris mass emailed a complaint about Yung Joc’s decision to bypass entering the club.
“Yea, I know what happened with T.I. and I understand, but my man didn’t even come in the club people,” he said. “You got a packed house, which came out to see regardless of the fact of the matter, but you still gotta promote your joint.”
The following the day, JChris sent out an email apologizing, saying he understands the sorrow, but stuck to his guns that Yung Joc should have come into the club.
Go figure.
