She is a 35-year member of New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church and has put her trust in the Lord. Khala Frances McDonald has received a four-year, $40,000 scholarship from the NSF Biology Scholars Program, Div. of Biological Sciences. She is a 2011 graduate of Hazelwood Central High and the daughter of Charles & Patsy G. McDonald III of Florissant. Khala will attend the University of MO–Columbia. Her goal is to become an Obstetrician.
