St. Louis has taken steps to make itself known on a international level. The Shanghai China Commerce Commission has signed an agreement with the region to do business with China. The “Memorandum of Understanding of Mutual Cooperation” is a step that will allow the two cities a platform for formal trade relations. The event comes just after a visit by China’s President Hu Jintao to the United States. -
