Students in Rob Lamb’s science class at Pattonville High School created detailed infographic posters about science content they learned in class. Four illustrations were selected for publication in the August issue of SciJourner, a science publication that is a collaboration between the University of Missouri-St. Louis and the St. Louis Science Center’s Youth Exploring Science Program. Lauren Trembley and Ciara Glenn (right) had their pieces selected for the front page. Trembley’s graphic was called “Tornadoes in Missouri,” and Glenn’s was called “Physics of Ballet.” Margaret Njenga (left) and Mary Mbugua’s piece, “AIDS Across the World,” and Kevin Murillo’s, “How Fat is Your Food,” were also featured in the publication. Instructional technology support specialist Jamie Richter assisted the students with the technology and graphic design elements of the project.
