Hazelwood PTA Council raised nearly $20,000 with its annual Scholarship Run/Walk. More than 1,700 people registered to participate, made a donation or purchased an event T-shirt. Approximately 750 people participated in race day activities such as the 5K, 10K and one-mile races, children’s fun runs and a wellness fair. The money is contributed to the Hazelwood PTA Scholarship Foundation. In early May, the Council and Foundation presented 100 graduating seniors with $500 scholarships.
