Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, Inc. is
seeking an attorney to work in its Housing
Unit. The attorney will work primarily in
our Homeless Legal Project, representing
homeless adults and youth. The attorney will
advocate on behalf of homeless persons to
remove barriers to housing, income, and selfsufficiency.
The advocacy includes
representation of clients in municipal courts
and may also include state and federal
litigation. The position also involves broadbased
community advocacy and possible
impact litigation. The attorney must be
licensed in the State of Missouri, or must
take the first available Missouri Bar Exam.
The attorney should have strong litigation
and advocacy skills, including excellent writing
ability. The position is grant-funded and
subject to renewal. Salary range is $32,500
+, depending on experience. Send resumes
