Harris-Stowe State University has immediate openings for Maintenance
Techs I & II. Tech I must have at least one yr. experience in
building/grounds maintenance, make-ready, and light construction. Tech II
must have a minimum of 7 yrs. experience in building systems, electrical,
boiler operations and mechanical repair.
Additional requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate, good
communication and computer skills including MS Office. Ability to
lift/carry 50 lbs., push/pull up to 300 lbs., climb ladders without assistance,
have a valid driver’s license, reliable means of transportation, demonstrate
good work ethic, and be a strong team player. Employment contingent upon
successfully passing a drug screening and criminal background check.
Certificates in building operations, electrical, technical school, or irrigation
systems knowledge are a plus.
