creative thinking. The Regional Youth Services Specialist must be a candidate
for a from an accredited college or university, with a minimum 1-year
library experience. The successful candidate must have knowledge of reference
tools, Bibliographic sources, cataloging and classification systems and
the ability to apply this knowledge in a busy Regional Branch Library. Will
work closely with branch staff in staffing the library and may be in charge
of the branch for brief periods of time. Will provide operational support in
the areas of circulation, statistical reporting, opening and closing, patron
complaints, problem solving, scheduling, outreach services, collection
development, group presentations and directing daily operations as needed.
Will provide reference assistance for juveniles as well as adults and must be
familiar with literature for children and yourn adults.
