Annie Malone Children & Family Services will provide 400 St. Louis families with $250 Walmart grocery gift cards in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.

The $100,000 program is funded through a Missouri grant in partnership with ARCHS. Beginning Friday, 100 families will receive cards each week for four weeks. Families must register in advance and complete a brief wellness and food-insecurity assessment.

Annie Malone said it will connect families needing additional assistance with other resources.

  1. I need assistance, I was n a car accident and am unable to work full hrs and I am raising my grandchildren
Any help would be greatly appreciated

  2. I believe this is a great thing that this organization is doing. I work with a Prop S-Grant funded Program called Family, Court, Siblings (FCS) where I help to remove barriers for families that have children in the court system and I work with the siblings that are NOT in the system to help keep them out by providing them with job opportunities, financial literacy classes and awareness,. I also remove other barriers but providing food for some of these families for the holidays would be awesome. I do not know how your organization is going to pick these 400 families, but if just one of mine gets this gift it would be a true blessing.
