St. Louis County Library will close the Lewis & Clark Branch on Monday, April 6, as part of the Your Library Renewed campaign. Patrons are being directed to the Florissant Valley Branch, located at 195 New Florissant Road South. Construction on a new Lewis & Clark Branch began last October. The new branch is located on the same property as the current building, and is expected to be completed and open to the public in fall of 2015. SLCL will have a bookmobile in north St. Louis County during the Lewis & Clark closure. The Sweet Reads Bookmobile will make stops throughout Spanish Lake, roughly four miles from Moline Acres, providing another option for patrons to access library materials. For more information, visit www.slcl.org/your-library-renewed or call Jennifer McBride at 314-994-3300 ext. 2250.
