Madison Shead, 13, daughter of Bruce and Deirdre Shead of Kirkwood, won the state title of 2011 National American Miss Missouri Pre-Teen during a pageant held in Columbia, MO. She was awarded a cash prize and a paid trip to the National Pageant being held in Los Angeles, CA during the Thanksgiving Holiday, where she will represent Missouri.

Samuel Bluiett, Jr. is a 7th grader in the Hazelwood School District. He has been recognized by the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in Honor Roll, Citizenship and Perfect Attendance. Samuel also received the President’s Education Award in recognition of Outstanding Academic Excellence.
