St. Louis Comptroller Darlene Green (third from right) and some of her
accounting staff congratulate Olena Opachevsky (center), who became a
naturalized U.S. citizen on May 28 at the Thomas F. Eagleton Courthouse
downtown. Opachevsky, an accountant II in the comptroller’s Tax
Increment Financing section, is originally from Ukraine and came to
America in 2006 with her husband, also a naturalized citizen.
