CNN Money, a service of CNN, Fortune and Money, has ranked the City of Florissant in their top 100 best places to live.
The article can be found on www.cnn.com which touts Florissant as one of the best values in the nation for home buyers. “In addition to good elementary and high schools this diverse city is home to a Christian private school, two theological colleges and a branch of Lindenwood University (the fastest growing university in the Midwest),” it states.
Mayor Thomas P. Schneider added that Florissant has two excellent public school districts in Hazelwood and Ferguson-Florissant and well established Catholic and Lutheran parochial schools.
Established in 1786 Florissant is the oldest and largest city in St. Louis County.
