Grand Center announced that it is one of 66 organizations receiving a 2014 Our Town Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA). Established by Congress in 1965, NEA has awarded more than $5 billion to support artistic excellence, creativity and innovation for the benefit of individuals and communities.  Grand Center will receive $50,000 to design a pedestrian walkway along the eastern edge of the Grand Center District, entitled the Art and Music Promenade (AMP) Connector. This art-infused pedestrian connector will connect Lindell Boulevard to Washington and Grand Avenues and enable visitors and residents to conveniently access shops and restaurants.
