St. Louis Internship Program (SLIP) recently received a grant from the Saint Louis Mental Health Board. The grant totaling $49,839 will support a new program – Pre-Internship Component (PIC) – aimed to provide St. Louis Public School District ninth graders with the skills, training and support they need to successfully complete high school and pursue their post-secondary goals.
The PIC is a challenging development program that offers ninth graders in the SLPS district specific skills training that will help expand their educational and career opportunities.
