“Fathers ‘Caught’ Doing Something Right” is the theme for the 9th Annual Male Leadership Conference, sponsored by the YWCA St. Louis Head Start/Early Head Start program, from 8-3:30 p.m. Friday, March 9 at the Engineers Club, 4359 Lindell Blvd.
Annually, more than 100 men who are fathers or male role models to children attend the conference dedicated to supporting fatherhood and strong nurturing relationships with children. There will be sessions on fathers’ rights and the importance of father’s physical, emotional and financial well-being.
The conference is a culminating event for the YWCA St. Louis Head Start Ma.G.I.C. (Males Guiding and Involving Children) program, a year-round program.
