The YWCA is seeking nominations for women who are making a significant contribution to the workplace or the community for its Leaders of Distinction awards. Women are annually honored for contributions in categories such as Corporate Management, Entrepreneurship, Science and Technology, Government, Health, Communications, the Arts, Non-Profit, Education, and Racial Justice. The women chosen are leaders in their fields and personify the YWCA mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. This year a new category has been added to recognize women who are improving the St. Louis area through Philanthropy/Volunteerism. The Leaders of Distinction are recognized at the annual Leader Lunch held in early December. Nomination forms are on the YWCA website at
