The Long Term Care Ombudsman Program of Greater St. Louis and Northeast Missouri recently announced the award recipients of the 16th Annual Caregiver Awards.
The program salutes these unsung heroes who, with compassion and dedication, go above and beyond in providing care for our loved ones when we no longer can, organizers said.
The 2010 Caregiver Award Winners include:

* Tracey Portell, housekeeper, Community Care Center of Lemay
* Julia Lambers, CAN, Delmar Gardens of Creve Coeur
* Teresa Miller, volunteer, Delmar Gardens North
