Saint Louis County conducts its annual sale of tax delinquent property on the fourth Monday of August each year, which this year will be August 27. The sale will start at 10 a.m. in the County Council Chambers on the first floor of County Administration building, 41 South Central Avenue, Clayton. Sales will be made to the highest bidder at public auction, and all sales are final.

All persons wishing to participate in the sale must register before making bids. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the sale in the Office of the Collector of Revenue, located on the street level of the County Administration building. All bidders must have some form of verifiable current picture identification and must be current on their taxes. There will be no changes in registration made after the fact, except for a properly noted assignment of the certificate of purchase.
