The Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine will offer a breast cancer awareness and education symposium. The program, “A Lifetime of Celebration,” is designed to reach African-American women through Siteman’s Program for the Elimination of Cancer Disparities and will take place March 11 from 1:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the Taylor Community Science Center, 4500 Manchester Road.

Vetta Sanders-Thompson, PhD, MPH, from Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health, will host a keynote presentation for breast cancer survivors and their supporters. Dinner and breakout sessions are included. The event is free but registration is required. Call (314) 747-4611.
