During Fiscal Year 2012, St. Patrick’s Center’s 10 employment programs placed nearly 500 people who are homeless, including veterans, into full-time and part-time jobs.
Its Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program was most successful, placing 117 veterans into full-time jobs, 90 into housing and 44 into advanced employment training.
St. Patrick Center’s BEGIN New Venture Center also helped 10 new companies launch in FY2012, for a total of 26 new businesses now growing in the nation’s first incubator with mission sensitivity to help people who are homeless.
