St. Louis Public School has six students that have been selected as Young Ambassadors for Nonviolence to represent the state of Missouri who will travel to South Africa in June 2011 to study “The struggle from Apartheid to Democracy” and the role nonviolence played.
The students will stage “RISEN: the Stage Play” as a fundraiser 7 p.m. Friday, February 25 at Roosevelt High School, 3230 Hartford St. Tickets are $12 for adults $10 for students. For more information, call 314-600-3366.
