The Allstate Foundation has awarded a grant of $4,000 to St. Louis For Kids. Funds will be used to support the Afterschool Quality Initiative program which enables children to benefit from adult leadership and activities that have been shown to increase academic and personal success.

Through the program, 43 schools (predominantly in low-income neighborhoods) have completed the quality-improvement process.

St. Louis For Kids helps young people avoid delinquency, drug/alcohol abuse and supports their educations through after-school programs.
