People’s Health Centers, located at 5701 Delmar Blvd., will host a Back-to-School Community Health Fair on Friday, August 5 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., providing school supplies, bicycle helmets, immunizations, dental and lead screenings, and much more.
Parents must bring their children’s current immunization records. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the services and supplies. Shots to be provided include those required for school entry.
People’s Health Centers also is sponsoring Community Education Forums on the new Medicare prescription drug coverage. They will be held Monday, August 8 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and Tuesday, August 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the center at 5701 Delmar Blvd.; and Wednesday, August 10 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the center at 11642 West Florissant Rd.
