The National Association of Black Social Workers at Saint Louis University is currently collecting children’s books to send to children living in a group home in Ghana. Many of the children have been orphaned as a result of loosing their parents to HIV/AIDS. In addition to African and African-American themed children’s books, the chapter is in need of community agencies, corporations and/or individuals willing to underwrite the cost of shipping the books to Ghana.

Books can be dropped off at 625 N. Euclid, Suite 320 Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information call Edward Ashley Smith at (314) 865-1600.
