Voices for Children (formerly City CASA) is currently accepting applications for the five-week Volunteer Child Advocate Training class beginning October 18. This not-for-profit organization trains community volunteers to speak for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the foster care system in St. Louis City. Volunteers become sworn officers of the court and work with children’s lawyers to protect their rights and expedite vital medial and educational services while they are in foster care.
