High schools in the Hazelwood School District have a $75,000 boost toward upgrading its education program through a grant from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Funds will be used for Site Team and Staff Development workshops and meetings, Site Development activities and Curriculum Integration and Assessment.
The High Schools Reform Committee began its work last fall to revamp high school education in order to get Hazelwood students better prepared to successfully compete in higher education, technology and in today’s workplace.
