The Flip flops & Fives fundraiser and donation drive will take place throughout the month of April to benefit Place of Safety, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the shelter and aid abandoned children in Jamaica. The organization is requesting donations of sandals and flip flops and monetary donations of five dollars (or more). Boys clothing items from size five to adult are also needed. Donations can be dropped off at the three participating Jamaican restaurants; Caribbean Sun, 666_ Olive St. Blvd., De Palm Tree, 8631 Olive Blvd., and Jamaica Irie Cuisine, 122_ Castillon Arcade.
