A golf tournament to benefit the Wesley House Association will be held Wednesday, July 13 at the Norman K. Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park. Tee time is at 12:30 p.m. “We need about 100 golfers to meet our fundraising goal,” said J. Kim Tucci, an honorary chairperson.
Wesley House is a United Way agency that offers senior meal programs, computer classes, food pantry, service learning, transportation, youth clubs and an after-school program.
Money from the Older Americans Act has been slashed by a large percentage, forcing Wesley House to cut back on services and eliminate meal programs for seniors and young children.
