The Missouri Foundation for Health is sponsoring a free seminar on Thursday, May 4, 7:30-9 am, for area business owners to focus on the challenges of providing affordable and quality health care coverage to workers. The seminar is being held in conjunction with the national Cover The Uninsured Week, which is May 1-7.

The May 4 seminar, co-hosted by the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association, will be held in the Regional Collaboration Center located on the 12th floor of One Metropolitan Square in downtown St. Louis. Business leaders will hear a discussion of affordable employee health care options for their employees and be able to participate in an open forum to exchange ideas. Dr. William Kincaid, director of the City of St. Louis’ health department; Dr. James. R. Kimmey, president/CEO of Missouri Foundation for Health; and Janet Poppen, CEO of St. Louis-based Poppen & Associates CPA. Ellen Sherberg are all scheduled to speak at the seminar.
