The Organization for Black Struggle (OBS) seeks a qualified candidate from the GLBT community with good communication and basic computer skills and some organizing experience for their Audre Lorde Project.
Goals of the project are to raise awareness about the negative impact of homophobia and heterosexism on the African-American community and to create opportunities for dialogue and bridge-building.
Those interested must present a proposal to creatively implement the project goals. The proposal should include suggested activities, a timeline and a basic budget in no more than three pages.
