Hazelwood West High School senior Andrea Carroll works with a soldering iron in her digital electronics class. She is also taking classes in civil engineering and architecture and principles of engineering. The class is offered through Project Lead The Way, a non-profit organization that encourages students to take engineering courses in middle and high schools. All three Hazelwood high schools are certified Project Lead The Way schools.
