Interfaith Partnership in collaboration with Jobs With Justice is coordinating a rally to stop Medicaid cuts at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6 at the Jefferson City Capital Rotunda. Buses depart St. Louis from 5585 Pershing at 8:30 a.m.
The proposed cuts to Medicaid and other health care programs harm working families by making low income, uninsured families ineligible for coverage. They hurt our most vulnerable citizens by removing benefits to the elderly, disabled and children. They hinder Missouri’s economy by eliminating economic activity that supports 79,892 jobs.
The organizers encourage Missourians to send e-mails to legislators through the website HYPERLINK “http://www.stl-jwj.org” www.stl-jwj.org.
To reserve your seat on the bus, call Jobs with Justice at 644-0466.
